Pesticide spraying with drones

The Interfresh Eurasia Fair, which introduces many innovations, is hosting a device that performs pesticide spraying with drones and is being showcased here for the first time in Turkey. Fatih Bak, a systems software developer from Uzman Çiftçi, provided information about the product. Bak stated that the device is a product of FLY Farmer, a company participating in the fair. He explained, “It offers pesticide spraying services for agricultural areas. We are displaying a portable version at the fair, while the original version has a wingspan of 3 meters. Additionally, we will use our own UAVs to analyze fields from above and then use the drone to apply pesticides to affected areas. We are presenting this product for the first time at the Interfresh Fair. All necessary tests have been completed, and there are no issues. We plan to release a new version in March 2020. Although we considered flying the drone at the fair, we chose not to do so to avoid potential problems due to the propeller power.” Source: Antalya Körfez
